Among the pile of work, Etsy, and some personal drama, I'm taking comfort in these amazing spaces...

SpeakEasy Holiday Sale pics!

I bumped into my Thesis prof JC Knaff! :)

My Ikea Stranne lamp got a lot of attention.

with Sahan, one of my best friends!

and Jon, another one :)

He had some fun with this cup..

I adorned the table with pretty doilies.

I found a cool way of displaying my flower brooches.

Thanks to everyone who came out to support your local artists, keep on craftin!

What a month!

I noticed that it has been almost a month since my last post - I have been superbusy with a new gig - let's just say it involves making pretty window displays :) Hopefully I can get some pictures up soon! But the big news is that I have become a morning person! Ok, not entirely true, I still love my sleeping-in days, which is far and few now, but it's like I have this automatic alarm inside now where I wake up at 7 to 8ish every day. I love you longer days :)

I have also been scrambling to get my stock together for the SpeakEasy Holiday Sale coming up:

This will be a fantastic event to find that perfect handmade and one-of-kind treat! It will feature 40 local artists and crafters, I'm so friggin excited and nervous to make my display.

Happy Monday!

Inspired by...

I finally got to watch Coco Avant Chanel with Jon this week and it was the best treat! The film was everything I expected and more... the acting was delivered skillfully by Audrey (as usual!) and the costumes are wonderfully believable. I'm so in love with the scenery of France, and her lover Boy Capel ain't bad either... Right now I am still thinking about all the textures of tweed and lace and her combination of masculine pieces tailored to fit her figure, it was just about the coolest sight when she walked on screen dressed like that amidst a sea of frilly frocks.

What a tragic and amazing story of Coco. ♥
